We're talking about Yelp, which doesn't just allow Web surfers to find local businesses but get valuable reviews as well.

With the addition of Yelp, BMW Online is perhaps the best co-pilot you've ever had. The new Yelp feature, doesn't compromise driver safety, either. Rather, it reads business reviews out loud, thanks to the system's text-to-speech capabilities.

What BMW drivers can use Yelp? Those with a navigation-equipped BMW sedan, coupe or SUV and currently subscribing to BMW Assist Convenience Plan can benefit from the new Yelp service, starting immediately. Your system has been updated automatically to include the new feature on your Applications screen. If you are a current subscriber with a nav-equipped BMW and can't access Yelp, please contact the our BMW service department today.

Those BMW owners who own a navigation-equipped vehicle but maybe aren't subscribed to BMW Assist, will need to activate their account before gaining access to Yelp. Among the many other features of BMW Assist are, Bluetooth hands-free calling, voice-recognition, and instant connection to specialists for everything from emergencies to directions to current traffic details.
